About The Role

Are you a talented and passionate Marketing Executive with good understanding of the importance of loyalty and recognition within Marketing strategies?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Executive looking to gain experience working within the NHS to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The successful candidate will be required to move between locally focussed activity and regional strategy to support key business objectives.

Our Marketing Executives are at the heart of the way we communicate with our 180,000-strong Bank Member community supporting the smooth running of any Member engagement and utilisation  campaigns across all channels.

Skills/Responsibilities:

The Marketing Executive role is key in supporting the ongoing evolution of the Engagement and Utilisation team’s work and impact across the business.  

    • Working with the Strategic Marketing Manager to develop and deliver the engagement and utilisation marketing strategy for NHS Professionals’ 180,000-strong Member community. This will include all current and future staff groups, existing services and stakeholders, as well as new/emerging products and services which NHSP aims to develop for the Member community
    • Core focus on supporting strategically planned Bank Member engagement activity for our client Trusts in the south and specific staff group focus for Doctors, Allied Health Professionals, Healthcare Scientists and Social Workers
    • Act as expert and first point of contact for Member engagement and utilisation enquiries and initiatives within one of NHSP’s regions (north/south), developing region specific knowledge which will influence campaign delivery
    • Support and maintain incoming queries and member communication requests on a team rota basis 
    • This role is Home based with occasional national UK travel

About The Candidate

We would love to meet people with:

  • An appropriate Degree with CIM Diploma or a Marketing Degree or equivalent level experience
  • Experience of working with with suppliers of marketing services
  • A track record of supporting the delivery of campaigns
  • A confident communication style with excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage a variety of different activities at the same time
  • A resilient nature and the ability to keep their cool when the pressure is on
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Social media savviness
